To reactivate a rental listing, go to 'Advertised rentables' and select 'Rented out'. Once you've done that, click on the three dots next to the listing you want to reactivate, and select 'Advertised'. Remember to review all the details you’ve previously filled in - this is important, as you may want to adjust the date, price, or upload new photos.
This means you don’t need to create a new listing for a property that you've already created and advertised earlier, which may have been rented out but is now available again. Instead, you can simply reactivate your listing so that it is marked as available and open for applications once more.
How to reactivate an already created rental listing
To be able to reactivate your rental, it is important that you are logged in to the profile with which you originally created the ad.
-
Go to 'Advertised rentables', select the 'Rented out' tab.
Here, click on the three dots next to the relevant rental and choose 'Advertise'.
-
Review and update your ad details in the ad setup
All the information you previously provided in the ad will automatically be filled in. However, you have the freedom to edit these details—for example, if the rent is going to increase or you have taken new photos of the property—for the new advertisement.
-
Check that your ad is as you want it, and complete the setup by clicking 'Advertise'
-
OPTIONAL: Purchase a promotion for your ad, making it extra attractive to property seekers.
You have the option to purchase three different promotion packages, which you can read more about here. It is purely an additional service and, of course, completely optional.
-
If you do not want to promote your ad, simply click on 'Continue with a free ad'.
Afterwards, you will be redirected to a page where you can see what your ad will look like. However, it will have the status 'Waiting for Approval' until it has gone through BostadsPortal's internal validation process.
If you want to make changes to the ad, you can always click on 'Edit ad information' and add your changes.
