You always have the option to add images or videos to your BostadsPortal listing. We recommend bright, accurate images showing a chronological walkthrough of your property and including a floor plan. Better images attract more interest and help your listing stand out.
If you do not insert images in your listing, a Google Street View image will be automatically inserted
We only accept image files in .jpg, .jpeg, .jpng, and .png formats, with a maximum of 10MB each. We do not accept PDF and HEIC file types (typically from Apple devices).

I can't add pictures to my advertisement. What can I do?
If you are experiencing issues with uploading a picture to your advertisement it is often because the picture is in a file format that is not supported by BostadsPortal - typically it is a PDF or a HEIC-file. You could also experience issues if the picture is bigger than 10 MB.

How do I change the filetype on my pictures?
Most Apple and iOS devices automatically store pictures as HEIC files when the live function is activated. This format is not supported by BostadsPortal and therefore cannot be uploaded to your advertisement.
You can change the file type of your pictures by taking a screenshot of the pictures in your camera roll and uploading these screenshots instead, or by using an online file converter – for example, this one.
If you search for "HEIC to JPG" on Google, you will find a wide range of conversion solutions.
How do I prevent my iPhone from saving pictures in HEIC format?
Disable the live function when taking pictures with your iPhone by clicking the live icon in the top right corner of your camera app until a diagonal line appears over it.
How do I reduce the file size of my pictures to be less than 10MB?
Regular pictures taken with a digital camera or a newer smartphone typically range between 2MB and 10MB. If you take pictures in RAW format (with professional photography equipment), the pictures are usually three times larger. To be uploaded to BostadsPortal, each of your pictures must be no larger than 10MB.
You can easily compress the file size of your pictures by using software that automatically reduces the file size.
Alternatively, you can Google "Compress image," where you will find a wide range of compression solutions.
How do I check the file size of my pictures?
To check the file size of your pictures on a computer:
Right-click on the image file and select 'Properties' (Windows) or 'Get Info' (Mac). You will see the file size in megabytes (MB) in the respective windows.
To check the file size of your pictures on a mobile device:
