How do I set up a Search Agent for a larger area?

If you are interested in receiving notifications about new homes in a larger geographical area — for example, all of Stockholm or the whole of Guthenburg and the surrounding towns — you can create a Search agent for a larger area using the map search.

This way, you will automatically receive an email notification when new available homes matching your criteria appear within the specified area.

How to create a Search agent for a larger area

1. Select the type of housing you are looking for on Bostadsportal.se or in the BostadsPortals app, and enter your desired search criteria – e.g., in terms of size and maximum rent
   
   
   
2. Click on 'Map' in the left column and zoom in or out until you display the desired area you wish to set up a SearchAgent for
   
   
   
3. Click on 'Search Agent' in the orange box at the top of the map, so the dot turns green

You will then receive an email notification when new available rentals appear in the specified area.

You can have multiple Search Agents, so you can create several searches for larger or smaller areas and set up a Search agent for each of them.
