The content on your profile depends on whether you are using BostadsPortal as a tenant or as a landlord. When you create a new profile, you are initially registered as a tenant until you create a listing, a rental contract, or a moving inspection.
When you are logged in to your account, you can get a complete overview of your account option by clicking in the top-right corner of the website.

What options do I have as a seeker on my account?
- The first option in your menu bar is your 'Profile'. You access your profile by clicking on your name/mailadress in the menu bar - This is also marked with a '1' in the picture above.
Your profile is visible to the landlords you contact on BostadsPortal. Additionally, if you have an active seeker subscription, your profile will also be available to landlords with listings in the same area where you are searching for accommodation.
- The second option, indicated by a '2' in the picture above, is your 'Inbox'. Here, you can view the messages you have sent to landlords, as well as the messages you have received from them.
- The 'Favorites' option, marked with the number '3', is where you can find the advertisements you have marked as 'favorite'. When searching for accommodation on BostadsPortal, you can click on a small heart icon to add the advertisement to your 'Favorites' section.
- Your Search Agents can be found in the 4th option, labeled 'Search agents', and marked with the number '4' in the picture above. These are your saved searches. These saved searches generate mail notifications, so you will receive an email when a new advertisement that matches your saved search is posted online.
- The next option in the menu bar is 'Subscription', marked with the number '5'. Here you can find your seeker subscription if you have purchased one. In this section, you can also cancel your seeker subscription and view the receipts for your subscription.
- The sixth option is 'Renting out', marked with the number '6' in the picture above. When you click on this option, you will be presented with four new options related to renting out properties. This section is only relevant if you want to advertise a property for rent.
- The 'Support' option, marked with the number '7' in the picture above, takes you directly to BostadsPortal's Supportcenter. Here, you will find various guides designed to help you with any questions or issues you may encounter on our website.
- The option marked with the number '8' in the picture above is 'Settings'. In your settings, you have a variety of options. Here, you can change the settings for the emails you receive, the language of the emails and the website, and you can also change your password, among other things.
- The last option in the menu is 'Log out', marked with the number '9' in the picture above. Clicking on this option will log you out of your account.
What options do I have as a landlord on my account?
- The option marked with the number '1' in the picture above is 'All rentables'.
Here, you can access all the rentables you have created on your profile, whether they have been advertised or not.
- The second option in the menu is 'Advertised rentables', marked with the number '2' in the picture above. 'Advertised rentables' shows you the currently active ads you have on BostadsPortal. Here, you can also view rentals that you have marked as rented out or those you have saved as drafts.
- The next option on the list is your 'Inbox', marked with the number '3'.
Here, you can find all the messages you have received and sent to tenants.
- The option marked with the number '4' is 'Find new tenant'.
This shows you a list of your active advertisements and property seekers looking for accommodation in the same area as your listing. Here, you can contact the seekers directly. You can read more about this service here.
- The fifth option is 'Tenancies' and is marked with the number '5' on the picture above.
Here you can see the tenancies you have created on your profile. You can create tenancies of your tenants and have a complete overview of for example their rental contract, the moving report(s), contact information of the tenants and the dates of moving in and out.
- The sixth option is 'Rental contracts', marked with the number '6'.
This function allows you to create free digital rental contracts easily. You can create and complete your rental contract step-by-step, and once you have filled out the contract, you can send it for signing through the website. Your tenant will then receive an email with a link for their signature. You can read more about this service here.

- The option marked with the number '7' is 'Inspection reports'.
This is the administration page for your Move in- and Move out-reports that you have created on BostadsPortal. It is also where you can create a new inspection report.

Please note that this service is currently only available in Swedish.
- The option 'Purchase and subscription' is the next option, marked with the number '8'. Here, you can view all the purchases and subscriptions you have made for your advertisements, such as when you have purchased a promotion subscription.
You can also find and download the receipts for your payments in this section.
- The option marked with the number '9' in the picture above is 'Support & knowledge'. When clicking on this option, you will be presented with two new options: 'Support' and 'Blog'.
The 'Support' option opens BostadsPortal's Supportcenter, where you can find guides to help you with any questions or issues you may have on our website.
The 'Blog' option takes you to BostadsPortal's Blog, where you can find blog posts about various themes related to searching for and renting out properties.
Please note that this service is currently only available in Swedish.
- The next option is 'Settings', marked with the number '10' in the picture above. In 'Settings', you can determine the types of emails you receive, how often you receive them, change your password, and choose the language for the website and the emails you receive.
- The last option, marked with the number '11', is 'More'. When you click on this option, you will be presented with four new options: 'Property seeker profile', 'Property seeker subscription', 'Favorites' and 'Search agents'. These options are useful if you need to search for accommodation using your profile.
Additionally, you will find the 'Log out' option here, allowing you to log out of your account.
